My name is Nancy, I and the Owner, Director, Educator of the Academy of Arts.  I have attended
Portland State, University of Maryland,  Cameron University, Central Texas College, and Pikes Peak
College, Colorado.  I have lived in the Killeen area for 9 years.   I am married and have two children.  
I am retired military and have a degree in Liberal Arts as well as a Certified Teacher with The
United States Army.    Family, Children and Music has always been my  priority and the most
important part of my life.  

I have background not only in teaching kindermusik but also in piano and voice for 41 years.  
Kindermusik has allowed me to share music with my children.  I am well prepared, enthusiastic,
and an  educated kindermusik teacher that will benefit the child, parent and community.  I love
teaching children music through social, emotional, cognitive, language, musical development
through each activity which is intertwined, integrated, and age appropriate.    I believe in teaching
Piano to children through Theory, Technic, Ear Training. Mostly  to read music , have fun and carry
it with them for the rest of their lives.  I look forward to having you in a class and teaching you!!


My name is Stephanie . I was born and raised in central New Jersey.  I am married to a  2LT in the
U.S. Army, which is what brings me to Texas.
I have been trained privately in piano, vocals and percussion. I have sung in various choirs,
musicals, as well as played for them. I have also played in a variety of bands, from the Ocean
County College Band (percussion) to The Everald Williams Jazz Trio (drums).  I was Music Minister
at The First Baptist Church of Red Bank before moving out here. There I led in worship with the
piano and I led the Chancel Choir.
I am currently attending The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor earning a degree in Church Music.  
I enjoy teaching and passing on my love of music to the next generation. I look forward to teaching
you!!


My name is Krysta.  My life has been revolved around dancing since the age of 5. Throughout my
years of dancing I have been a student, coach, teacher, and choreographer.  My belief in teaching
dance is to teach my students that if you believe in yourself that anything possible.  My goal is to
start a dance company to rise to the top with technique, poise, character, and class. Your child has
the ability to be the best bring her to a place where she can achieve her dream.

My Name is Michael.  I am a native Texan graduated from Copperas Cove High School and I am
currently pursuing a degree in Music.  I have been involved with numerous studies of Guitar
lessons for teaching.  I teach children through Adult level either Bass, Acoustic, Guitar.  I have been
teaching throughout the Greater Killeen area for  7 years.  I look forward to having you or your child
in a lesson.

My name is Dustin. My life revolves around music. I play guitar, drums, and bass guitar. I am well
versed in music theory. I teach all levels of guitar ranging from children to adult. I have been
teaching guitar throughout the Greater Killeen area for 6 years. I look forward to having you or your
child in a lesson.

My  name is James.  I am married.  I teach the following Violin, viola, fiddle, suzuki methods of
strings.  I  am currently involved with KISD as a strings advisor for numerous schools and have
private and group lessons available on site at Academy of  Arts.  I look forward to having your child
or yourself in a lesson or group session!!
